How do I schedule an appointment?

Are walk-ins or Same Day Appointments available?
Every visit is by appointment only. Walk-ins are not accepted.
What is the difference between a Blowout and Silk Press?
A Blowout typically uses different size round brushes that lock in heat and create curl within the hair. It is a smooth full bodied effect that can last 3-5 days depending on at home maintenance and hair type.
Will a Silk Press damage my curls?
If done properly and with proper heat protectant products and tools along with regular haircut the curls will revert back with water and will not be damaged.
Does my hair have to be straight in order to get a cut?
Our stylist are able to cut curly and straight hair. However, depending on whether the cut is a maintenance or transformational cut will determine what the best course of action.
What are the business hours?

What forms of payment do you accept?
All forms of payment are accepted with the exception of personal check.
Is a deposit required to schedule an appointment?
No deposit is required however, a CC is required in order to schedule an appointment.
Do I have to come in for a consultation?
All new color clients MUST have a consultation prior to scheduling for color service other than that consultations are offered at the beginning of every service.

Will color damage my hair?
NO! There is a strict regimen that comes along with any color service so as long as you maintain the health and integrity of your hair outside the salon chair your hair will be just fine.
How often should I get my ends cut (trimmed)?
Based on the natural flow and curl pattern of your hair you should be seeing a professional every 6-8 weeks. If your hair is more curly and coarse you should be getting trimmed every 6 weeks vs every 8 for if your hair is less curly and more wavy or straight.
What kind of products do you use
We only use responsibly safe professional products. Our top lines are Gorgeous Khaos Beauty (Bacckbar and prep), John Paul Mitchell Systems (Color, Backbar & Styling) and Pravana (Color & Backbar)
Are products available for sale
Yes we do offer retail products in the studio or on our "shop" section of the website.
How many Stylist work in the studio?
Gorgeous Khaos is an one on one private studio setting with just one professional colorist and hair artist; Dai Washington
What precautions are being taken in the midst of Coronavirus?
Heavy deep cleansing takes place daily within the building and inside our individual studio space. Also, after and before every client cleansing wipes and disinfectant spray are being used on all areas especially the high touch areas and chairs. Waivers are required from every client and Stylist Dai monitors her own existence thru temperature checks and hand washing frequently throughout the day. Most importantly MASK are required from everyone FACE SHIELDS (optional).
